Friendship

hi guys Happy friendship day!! here r some poems for those who stood by me. The last year had been tough, I felt like I was still finding myself- I lost some friends, others lost me. But there were some who gave ME their lamp, so I could enjoy some light. To-- well she knows who, we used to chat at 12 am too ;) My Friend When you met me I was broken, into the real world I had just woken. But you smiled and held my hand, and took me to a beautiful land. There were times when we fought, We said things without a thought, but happiness is what we sought, And that is what we got. You are like a dream, or that's what it may seam, I worry it must not end, I must not loose a friend. My day you can mend, just a message when you send, I feel loved, my friend, the beloved. - Aanya Shah to the long- distance canadian our distance you're desperate,  I'm separate,  Your early is my late, and when mine open, you close your gate. My yesterday is your today, not much that I can say, and I m...

The Beauty In Me

This poem is specially put to fight racism; because I know how it feels when a five year old is called black.  The Beauty In Me Like a Rainbow full of colours, And a field of various flowers, different people make the world full, because different makes it beautiful. If a black raven is pretty, And a brown eagle is a sight to see, I can stand out too, I'm black, but a human like you. Don't laugh at me, because then you cannot see, that I am a piece of nature, and I will remain one, forever. I'm black, you're right, but so is the sky at night. And for a candlelight dinner, there's no time finer. So if you still don't see,  it won't bother me, for it's seen by nature, and I believe in her.  - By Aanya Shah

The Storm

The Storm The wind is heavy, and outside it's rainy. I look out sadly, the past few days have been gloomy. Why can't the wind sweep away, the rude things they say, and the rain wash all, miseries that make me fall? For others it may be sad, but for me it's not bad, while they seek shelter for their notes, my paper boat floats. So you see beloved, by the rain I am loved, for when I went to catch my boat, I saw a tiny little note. I smiled when it saw who it was from, it said- with love, the storm. - By Aanya Shah

Why humans cry when they blunder

Hi guys This is the third and published poem I am sharing with you  Have fun!! Why Humans Cry When They Blunder I always wonder, Why humans cry when they blunder. If light could fall on mirrors, And make them shine,  Why couldn't eyes fall on true winners, And make them soar high? And I always wonder, Why humans cry when they blunder. When they think life is full of misery, A second ago, they yelled "yippee!" I always wonder, Why humans cry when they blunder. When they choose to open their hand, And let go of all gathered sand. I sit back and wonder, Why humans cry when they blunder. Hope you liked this poem! Don't forget to comment and tell me how you felt! And of course, don't  subscribe! Stay lively! ♾♾

Mumbai Meri Jaan

Mumbai, the city that never sleeps, Mumbai, my home. Mumbai as a city I was born and brought up in the city of dreams, and I am gonna today write of  Mumbai.  so to start with, the business capital is now evolving. Now, no religion of gender defines where you stand but the work you do as  a citizen. Gender equality is getting more and more- speaking of which, i would like to include one more of my published poem: Even I Even I can race cars,  be a superhero flying with the stars. Even I can dream of sailing in the sea,  play, jump and bruise my knee. For I was born to my mother, am half of my father. I'm what nature made me, be it a he or a she. Even I can play with dolls, read of princesses in balls. Even I can love dance, oh please, give me a chance. For I was born to my mother, am half of my father. I'm what nature made me, be it a he or a she. do comment and tell me how was the poem!! Coming back to wh...

I had written AND published it in fifth grade,  a day before i turned 10. The Rain and Fire The fire bragged to the Rain,  said it could give sinners pain, poor warmth,  when they don't meed rain But the rain couldn't admire, the flaming red fire. said the rain, "I save innocent from the jaws of death, with me around, they don't fret. I quench thirst, 'an tears that burst. and the rain couldn't admire, the flaming red fire.
