The Beauty In Me
This poem is specially put to fight racism; because I know how it feels when a five year old is called black. The Beauty In Me Like a Rainbow full of colours, And a field of various flowers, different people make the world full, because different makes it beautiful. If a black raven is pretty, And a brown eagle is a sight to see, I can stand out too, I'm black, but a human like you. Don't laugh at me, because then you cannot see, that I am a piece of nature, and I will remain one, forever. I'm black, you're right, but so is the sky at night. And for a candlelight dinner, there's no time finer. So if you still don't see, it won't bother me, for it's seen by nature, and I believe in her. - By Aanya Shah
